Shipping policy

We currently offer curbside pickup, free delivery within the Toronto area, and shipping via Canada post within Canada and the USA. 

Currently, plants can only be shipped within Canada due to border restrictions and the restriction of agricultural goods without proper paperwork.  Other dry products which include pots, macrame hangers, and decor are available to be shipped worldwide via Canada Post. All domestic packages have a $100 insurance for damage. This can only be claimed by The Split Leaf, and it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us within 24 hours of delivery if the damage occurred during transit happens. 

All plants are shipped bare root unless specifically requested by customer. Adding nursery pot and soil usually adds to shipping costs and an additional cost may be incurred. All plants are cleaned, sanitized and checked for pests before shipping. However, due to the nature of the product we are not responsible for any pests that arise during shipping or while in your care. 

Customers in Canada are eligible for free shipping when they spent $50 or more. Free shipping offered is expedited or xpresspost depending on the price difference. 

Customers making returns are required to purchase a return shipping label at their own cost at the shipping method of their choice.
